To the outside of the property there is off road parking for one car and and enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. The Dale Cottage is ideal for couples and families looking to explore this region of Northumberland with walks, cycling and Hadrian's Wall all nearby. The town of Allendale was once the centre of a busy lead mining area, and many relics of the mining era remain around the area. Allendale is ideally placed for access to Carlisle to the west, Hexham to the east or the Roman Wall just to the north.
