We will definitely be booking again!

The lodges were impeccable. It felt like rustic luxury the moment we went in the front door. We were able to wake up to deer outside the bedroom window, and watch squirrels run about. And having a hot tub to have a drink in the evening looking up at the stars and night sky was amazing. James and Katie were really lovely and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!

I wish we had access to a dustpan and brush just to be able to tidy up a bit during our stay a bit more. I also needed to ask for another duvet (which they were kind enough to provide literally the same day) as I found the mattress a teeny bit too firm.

Very beautiful lodges with a lovely staff running them the ladie was so professional and so welcoming ! She was so helpful we lost the key to get into and she was with us in seconds with a new one ! Amazing place definitely 10000% go again

A comfortable stay but surely plenty of room for improvements.

The overall design of the lodge was really beautiful. For example the entire lodge had stunning lighting & it was also really spacious too.

Upon check in we were checked in by the host who I believe could have shown us around by taking her time more. She was literally in there with us for less than a minute which resulted in us having to call numerous times with questions which we had in regards to the lodge. The hot tub jets weren’t functioning properly which was extremely annoying. Also the cleanliness of the lodge wasn’t that great alongside that some Of the dishes in the kitchen were dirty too. The lodge was also missing a hair dryer which I found surprising. Candles were provided too but there was no lighter or match sticks to light them with.

Great time but a few issues including a rude staff member.

Great location and facilities.

The fixtures and fittings were all very cheap and the kitchen was badly supplied. The staff member that let us in to the property was extremely rude and unhelpful.

Everything. Fantastic location for dogs and walks. Luxurious, clean and new lodge. Bedrooms and bathrooms beautiful and spacious. Views of the woods were beautiful from every angle/window in the lodge. Amazing views of the forest from the hot tub. Peace and quiet. We had an amazing time x thank you so much x we will definitely be back x

Having to strip laundry and move towels. Unable to book a longer stay ie Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. Slightly overpriced for a 3 night stay.

relaxing stay in a beautiful lodge

We have just returned from a 2/3 night stay at the maple lodge celebrating our friends birthday! the lodge and grounds are fantastic with 4 beautiful double rooms, one with a free standing bath in the en suite! the downstairs is perfect layout for entertaining and the grounds are great for dogs. the hot tub was also superb and was cleaned in the morning ready for the day ahead! also close to amenities as I popped out to the shop for some supplies, there is also several take aways that deliver to you. the owners were super helpful and answered any questions we had, even dropped off some more toilet roll for us! 😊

The only thing I would request would be for the upstairs windows to have blinds on the top sections as light came through.

Beautiful lodge in a picturesque and tranquil setting.

This is the second time I have stayed at Newlands Lodges and would return for a 3rd. The lodges are in a beautiful tranquil setting. The views are incredible. Having stayed in both summer and autumn both are equally beautiful. The lodge just has a lovely feel to it. The decor is tasteful. The beds are extremely comfortable and its the perfect place to escape for the weekend with family or friends.

Newland lodge stay

Amazing property, breathtaking from the start! Good walks etc near the property. Hot tub was amazing and cleaned often by staff! Beds soooo comfortable and overall excellent stay! Will definitely be coming back!

A really great stay enjoyed by the entire group. Would love to return!

The lodges were absolutely beautiful, all the rooms were spacious, the location was beautiful. I was worried that we'd be stuck for necessities but we were provided with local taxis and grocery shops.

The check-in is quite late and check-out is quite early. With the price of each villa per night it would have been nicer to be able to have more time at the lodges considering our journey was 6hrs each way. Early check-in/out is an additional £20 p/h but you are not able to check-in before 3pm.

Stunning getaway, setting, lodge and service all exceptional.

Incredible stay. The setting of the lodges are truly stunning and the lodge itself matches it's beautiful surroundings. Everything was immaculate and well thought out. The views from the on suite bathroom provide the perfect place for a bath, whilst the outdoor hot tub is an added luxury. I can't wait to return!

We loved how clean and cosy the place is! The unique features like the Jacuzzi, the fire place, the bath in the window! The big beds and Netflix on the TV’s. The views from each window is blissful. Our dog loved the place! - It’s a perfect place to relax. A home from home. We can’t wait to re visit already.
