Howgill House is a three-storey holiday home that offers an open-plan living area including a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and wine chiller, there's also a dining area and a sitting area with a Smart TV and woodburning stove. The three bedrooms include a double, as well as a further double and a twin on the second-floor, both with en-suite shower rooms, there is also a family bathroom and a ground-floor cloakroom. To the outside, find off-road parking for two cars and electric car charger, as well as an unenclosed side gravelled area with furniture. Sorry, there are no pets or smoking allowed. The nearest shop is 0.3 miles away, while you will find a pub 0.1 miles away. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Howgill House is a characterful and welcoming property situated ideally for exploring the wonders of Cumbria, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Note: Side garden is not enclosed

Venture further afield to the city of York, full of history and culture, with plenty of attractions to keep you busy. York Minster is the star attraction, a stunning Gothic cathedral with a history that spans centuries. The York Shambles is a narrow cobblestone street lined with charming old buildings, while The York Dungeon is a must-see for anyone with an interest in history.
