Well designed nice inside

Freezer didn’t work completely frozen over, no television control for the upstairs TV, TV downstairs didn’t really work kept glitching, floor wasn’t massively clean downstairs, no frying pan.

Excellent little hideaway

This cottage is a beautiful spot. Has everything you need for a perfect weekend away, coffee machine, a good grill for the bacon, comfy bed, powerful shower & Bluetooth speaker. Very pet friendly, even a little dog bed, towel and bowl which was a lovely touch. We stayed in on the Saturday night, cosy living room watching a film and plenty of glasses. Location wise, couldn't ask for better. A stone throw away from the lovely pubs, but hidden away in a courtyard so super quiet. Fantastic beer gardens near by, beautiful food and an ale bar. The nearby walks are beautiful, we did a local walk through the woods and along the river. On our second day we walked up Cautley Waterfall. I 100% will be back again!

Key safe was tricky to open maybe needs some Wd40. Freezer could do with a defrost, door frozen shut.

Absolutely beautiful!

The property is well located and is a beautiful little home from home. We really enjoyed the tranquility of a few nights away here and have already recommended it to friends and family. It’s a clean, comfortable space and there are lovely little extras such as shampoo and body wash in case you’ve forgotten and some basic food things stocked in the cupboards. The village is quiet but has lots of great pubs. We enjoyed the Dalesman for good food and drinks; the thirsty rambler is a great spot for a drink or too as well! Would definitely recommend for a couples getaway!

Christmas in the Secret cottage

Lovely little cottage is very cosy and has a great location. Good pubs and places, too, eat. Cottage was very clean. Everything u could want. We had a grate Christmas there. Would definitely recommend.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, even if it did rain everyday! Lovely.

Location was excellent, especially for the event I went to see. Wouldn't usually stay in a self catering cottage, but actually really liked the option to make own meals and watch TV with me being the only one to consider.

Staircase was a little difficult to get up with a bag and might be difficult for those less mobile. I struggled a little.

Delightful, clean and comfortable cottage

Lovely clean, comfortable cottage with kitchen and washing machine Sedburgh is a lovely village and the cottage was set back from the road so lovely and quiet Bedroom and bathroom upstairs bed was fabulous. Walk one minute and you’re have cafes and shops and wonderful walks .

The upstairs shower leaked downstairs but it looks like it’s been a problem, so still being resolved . We did notify owner

Cosy, romantic cottage in a great location

The cottage was great and well designed and it was lovely to come home to a cosy cottage after being out all day. It was really quiet and we couldn't really hear any noise from traffic etc. The kitchen was well equipped, although probably could have done with a couple more mugs to save on washing up. The bed was super comfy and we have enough space in the wardrobe and dresser to put all our clothes etc. The parking was fine, we parked in the car park a few minutes away, which was about £5.50 for all day, but if you arrive after 6:00 and leave before 9:00, it is free. Lovely pubs in the village to have a quiet drink and eat in, with great food. I will definitely book again if I am visiting the area in the future

The signal was rubbish on the TV, we couldn't watch anything in real time so had to watch catch-up We were left two towels only in the bathroom (none downstairs in the kitchen) which is not ideal for hair washing or drying hands. We did however, find a small odd one in the bottom drawers, but still not enough. Also be aware that most of the pubs and fish and chip shop close at 7:30-7:45 for food, as we found out on arrival of our first night there!

Lovely cottage, nicely furnished, clean and modern. No parking, but there are two public car parks very near and extremely reasonable. Sedbergh is beautiful, lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay.
