The Secret Cottage is tucked away in a hidden lane in a central location in Sedbergh. This cottage is furnished with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The spiral staircase was challenging but with care, easy to navigate. Without hesitation I would stay here again.

Lovely little cottage, close to everything in Sedbergh, free parking on streets or 2 carparks nearby. Drop off suitcase point outside a pink cottage, secret cottage is behind the pink cottage. Dog friendly.
Only a mild complaint, neither of us couldn't turn down the hot water in shower, so shower was very hot!

Eveerything about this property was spot on. Well appointed, beautifully clean and just generally exactly what we were looking for as a base for a quick weekend getaway.
Nothing at all. There are no complaints whatsoever. We had an issue that was unforeseen - not going to go into details - and the owner had it all sorted out in no time flat, and it in no way had a negative effect on our stay, if anything it was handled so efficiently that it was instantly a funny story that we will tell and remember; kudos to the owner / operator on that one.

Clean and nice decor.
Two problems really. TV reception was very poor and downstairs remote has a couple of important buttons not working. As for the shower it is a flood waiting to happen. The shower tray is very shallow and I’m pretty sure it isn’t level and when turned on fully it runs over very quickly.
