When we were showed to our room my husband had to carry both large bags up to our room, while the gentlemen showing us the room sailed up with nothing!

Fabulous

Staff were excellent from start to finish. Booked large table x 2 as travelling as part of a larger group and catered for us fabulously. Nothing too much trouble. Alex, Barman was brilliant. Breakfast was exceptional too. Staff super helpful and everywhere spotless. 100% recommend.

Value for money was excellent - staff were phenomenal and friendly.

Slightly more variety on the veg brekkie would be nice but this isn't necessary. Food quality is exceptional.

Stunning mix of old and modern

We were incredibly impressed by the Dalesman Inn on so many levels. We were warmly welcomed, our room was absolutely stunning mixing old charm with ultra modern conveniences. The bathroom was sumptious and beautfully decorated. The bed was huge and fantastically comfortable. The Inn itself has all been tastefully renovated and looks brilliant. The bar and restaurant are great with locally sourced products. The breakfast was one of the best we've experienced in a hotel. Overall we highly recommend this delightful hotel and will endeavour to return.

A fabulous find in the Dales, we will be back for sure!

The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was first class with walk in shower and a roll top bath! The food was simply superb as well and the staff couldn't have been more helpful!

Not being able to park closer to the hotel, but we already knew that when we booked.

Great unexpected wonderful stay! We had not made reservations for dinner prior to staying but the host told us about it and made a reservation - delicious dinner and breakfast!

Perhaps some kind of screening between bedroom and bathroom - not keen on looking straight through the large glass divide in on whomever is in there.

Functional for 1 night

It’s a cute little place with good size rooms and kitchen. Beds upstairs are comfortable and shower was more powerful than anticipated!

The sofa bed on the ground floor needs replacing, it partially collapsed in the middle, my son ended up having to sleep on the side sofa. Also it’s located at the junction of 2 main roads so lots of traffic noise.

Not value for money wouldn’t stay again

No car park or place to stop to drop off luggage Room had 5 different remote controls to automatically control blinds and skylight - didn’t work properly. Room was right on the main road - no soundproofing so noisy until people from pub left and agin awakened at 5-6 am with traffic. Window didn’t close properly Lots of dust noted around lampshades Breakfast just alright.

An extremely cosy and inviting inn. A very well appointed room, good food and great service.

The room was excellent. It was cosy and really well appointed with good lighting and electric blinds. A huge, extremely comfortable bed with a clean and modern bathroom, including a roll-top bath. Dinner was very good and breakfast was simple but very tasty using local ingredients and suppliers where they can.

Nothing to fault really. Even though there was some noise outside from the beer garden (we had the window open) it wasn’t loud or too late. And was fine with the windows closed.

Exceptional country pub, superb food, drink and service, amazing bedrooms.

The two ladies who checked me and showed me to my room, and hosted dinner service were excellent - dealt with a busy night exceptionally well - a credit to the pub. The food and beer were excellent too. Recommendations for a local run was gratefully received too. Will certainly return!

Lovely stay in The Dalesman Country Pub

We had a beautiful room which was very comfortable,the bed was super comfy and luxurious,had everything we could need. The restaurant food was delicious as was the breakfast and all the staff we encountered were really friendly and efficient.

The only thing we could find was lack of choice for vegetarians,my husband struggled to find an evening meal,there was one choice of main course which he had eaten at home the night before. He ended up having a starter with a salad,maybe it would be nice to offer at least 3 choices for those who don't eat meat or fish. The veggie breakfast was great, no problem's with that. I have to say this can happen in lots of places but many people are vegetarian these days.

I had booked the cottage. For someone 6 ft 3 in tall, it is not suitable as the ceilings are too low, particularly the bathroom. And there were way too many cushions!

Perfect from start to finish!

Warmly greeted by Brian on check-in who offered us a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room 8. Room was decorated to a high standard with great facilities and spotlessly clean! We had dinner in the evening and thought the food was to a high quality with giant portions. Breakfast in the morning was again excellent quality and a nicely leisurely checkout of 11am. Exceptional value for money. Thank you; we will be back!

No onsite car park however parking was available just around the corner so not a problem at all.

Exceptional 2 night break

Super quirky hotel which we loved. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Prices may be on the top side (remembering it was Easter Holidays) but you pay for what you get and we would not hesitate to stay again. We stayed 2 night and would have extended to 3 but was fully booked.
