Perfect for a family holiday with your four legged companions, The Barn can be booked alone or for larger family gatherings of up to 14 guests can be booked with The Folly, Wisteria Barn and Barberry Brook. The Barn is a place to relax, reconnect and feel instantly at home.
The Barn – Sleeps 6Step into this beautifully converted oak-framed barn where high green oak trussess, floor to ceiling windows and a warm, welcoming open plan living space set the tone for relaxed, sociable stays. There's plenty of room to cook, dine and unwind together, whether it's cosy evenings around the grand piano or alfresco meals on the covered balcony overlooking the gardens. Sleeping up to six across a king-size ensuite, a double and a twin room, The Barn is perfect as the social hub of your group.Although The Barn was never quite destined to house livestock, we're delighted to welcome your four-legged companions instead. Fingals is also home to our two friendly Lurchers, so we can happily recommend plenty of tried-and-tested local dog walks — with more scenic routes than you can shake a stick at.
We kindly ask that dogs accompany you whenever you leave the property, helping us to prevent any potential damage or noise disturbance for other guests and ensuring everyone enjoys a peaceful stay.
Shared delights and locationAll guests enjoy access to Fingals' superb facilities comprising of a heated indoor pool, sauna, games room, gym and grass tennis court — plus abundant gardens, walking routes and cycling tracks to explore. The enchanting waterside village of Dittisham is just a mile away with riverside cafes, pubs and ferries across the Dart to Greenway House, home of Agatha Christie or down river to Dartmouth and its historic harbour.

The Barn is part of a unique collection and can be booked by itself, with Barberry Brook s (sleeps 2); Wisteria Lodge (sleeps 4) to accommodate up to 12 guests or alternatively can accommodate upt 14 guests when booked as Fingals
