Very good stay, we all enjoyed

The room was clean and tidy. Free WiFi throughout with good signal/bit rate. The staff were friendly and accommodating. (Megan, Nick, Paul and William to name a few) The breakfast buffet was superb. The bar had a good choice of beers and ciders and soft drinks. Very dog friendly. Excellent keep it up!! The pool and spa facilities were very good. The gym looked to be well equipped although I didn't use it. The golf course looked very good and well maintained although I didn't use it. The golf shop was well stocked.

The weather was rubbish. (Not your fault really) The evening meal menu was quite limited and quite pricey.

Very clean and bright. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The front of the development could do with a link of paint. Clearly, that's a superficial point but first impressions etc etc.

The pool was very grubby but also the jacuzzi was out of action , the sauna was faulty and we were not told so basically we didn't have a spa experience

Waste of time , money and energy !

We booked a room for 1 night so we could use the spa, pool, etc on arrival went to reception to finalise the booking , when we started filling in forms they told us that the pool , spa , sauna was out of use , not working , waiting for engineers to come and fix , so we canceled , was annoyed as we only came here to use these facilities, drove over an hour and bought new swimming trunks for this purpose, they should of just announced or worded this on there website, warned everyone that these facilities were temporarily out of use till further notice , feel that we wasted a lot of time and money for 1 night , and all they could say was they wouldn't charge us for the cancellation, wow thanks ,

Although geared for golfers the hotel was great, dog friendly, welcoming and comfortable for me.

Suited me very well as a lone traveler with my 🐕 staff very friendly and helpful even making me a to go breakfast when I was late for it. This extra night was added to 4 previous nights all excellent including being able to stay in the same dog friendly room.

The only overall improvement would be a refurnish of the conservatory part of the dining room, in particular replacement of the tub chairs which have seen better days!

Not cheap, very dated hotel with a terrible smell!!

the house keeping staff where helpful,

the room was very dated the bottom of the bed old , dated and tattie. it was cold as the window was open when i arrived, i suspect it was because it smelt of damp when we closed them. we asked for a cot but we had a put you up bed, which was quickly changed when we said we booked a cot. the cot didnt have a mattress. you stated when i booked to bring sheets not mattresses, i have never done this at other hotels!!! We went to use the pool, oh my goodness, the stink of drains was awful, there was lots of fresheners around to mask the smell but couldnt !!!It wasnt cheap to stay, and I have stayed in several other chains of hotels

Good hotel but maybe i ordered the wrong dishes

Hotel was fine room lacked pictures it was very basic but comfortable. I had a Caesar salad which was the most basic one i have ever had, there was one mouthful of Anchovy and soggy croutons. Breakfast was not the best I had Eggs Benedict and it was smothered in Bechamel sauce and burnt bacon.

A Simple Rest

Nice place and clean. The bar staff were especially kind and nice.

The jacuzzi stopped working Saturday morning and wasn’t fixed for rest of my stay. There was only one vegetarian option on the menu.

Carpets needed a vacuum on stairs. toilet brush in toilets in rooms Better variety of drinks in bar The carpets in restaurant need cleaning and regulular airing out. Bed side light in 104 flickering before it turns on

Good parking, plenty of space in communal area, spa on site, facilities in room were helpful (hairdryer, iron etc)

Arrived at breakfast a good hour before the end of service but very little left at buffet. Lots of water on floor after shower. Room had sloping roofs.

Disappointing

Location, Golf Courses and Spa

The whole hotel and our room was tired and dated. The room and furniure whilst clean, was old and dark wood. Curtains were old. Bathroom was dated and mould between tiles. Whilst the staff do their best they are dealing with an out of date property. There were several shortages of product ( Jam, marmalade etc ) at Breakfast which suggest an inability to order food supplies correctly. The owners need to spend heavily to bring this hotel up to date. It has huge potential but currently is a disappointment

very pleasant, the golf course was very good and a hard challenge,but in very good condition.

Staff were very good .

Breakfast was not good the cooked breakfast was over cooked, and had been cooked a long time before being served, would have been nice if it was cooked to order. The forth day the coffee machines had run out of milk.After asking one of the nice young men why he told me that they had run out of milk alltogether.This I find unaccepable.I was told that you had a new manager, perhaps he should have done his job better.

Pleasant

Clean pleasan room with good bathroom. The dinner and service we had with the funeral party on Wednesday night was extremely good.

The hotel and our room were very lacklustre in decor. Opting out of room service means we didn't have any milk or tea for next morning; we should have thought of that. We wasted ages trying to book in online as requested. After 10 attempts we gave up and receptionist said it had been troublesome for a long time. So why don't you take it offline until its fixed?

Room very pleasant, comfortable and clean. Nice modern large shower room with attractive tiles. Two easy chairs. Breakfast, a quite well organised buffet. Nice larger sitting area with view. Pool and spa good.

Slight tile mould. Paint on wardrobe could do with a touch-up. Didn't alter our overall enjoyment Men's changing rooms floor could do with better drainage to sort out tiling standing water
