Very friendly relaxed atmosphere and staff very helpful. Quiet and beautiful setting
Room was cold on arrival and heater took a while to bring room to a comfortable temperature. Room needed some attention

Good dinner and breakfast. Excellent Spa. Attentive staff.
Room had no view in spite of attempt to upgrade. Inadequate nighttime ventilation.
8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Staff was great and very helpful. Lovely grounds and location. The hotel is generally good. Enjoyed the pool table.
We found the beds too hard but respect thats a personal thing. Pillows smelt of dogs and linen smelt damp. Could do with a lick of paint and updating

Rooms were large, location was good with a nice outlook across the gold club
This hotel could do with a complete renovation, it’s very tired. It seemed to us that there was a management issue, staff did not seem happy although they were trying their best. Everything from check in to having a drink in the bar seemed to be a problem. You also need to ask for your room t be cleaned or if you want a change of towels.
