A pleasant stroll from this peaceful holiday hideaway, the golden sands of Chapel St Leonards promise the full seaside experience – leisurely shoreline strolls, sunbathing and sandcastles are all part of the fun to be had here. Head north along the beach to see the spectacular North Sea Observatory – the only purpose-built marine observatory in the UK. Further along the coastline, Mablethorpe (10.5 miles) has a charming promenade and more golden sands, while inland, walkers will love the trails, rolling hills and hidden valleys of the Lincolnshire Wolds. At the southern tip of this National Landscape, historic market town Spilsby (14 miles) offers further retail opportunities, while foodie-haven Louth (22 miles) is home to a magnificent mix of Georgian and Victorian architecture plus the tallest steeple of any medieval parish church in Britain.
Park on the driveway and unpack at your own pace – step into the open-plan social space and you’ll find the kitchen area has plenty of room for all your food and drink supplies. There’s a dining suite where you can gather for home-style meals.
