Eira Studios Santa Marta by Xarm Apartments

Got to the place and the host was just contacting through Expedia where I don’t have notifications active instead of email or what’s app or a more mainstream channel, the check in process was so complicated, at first the link wasn’t working, when it was done the host told me it was too late and told me to get lost and find another place to stay, I had to explain I came w my girl and that we had no money left for another hotel and just then she bothered to do something, all she has to do from the beginning was give the info she already had to the security of the building. Legit takes 2 seconds yet she was ready to not let us in!! She told me too if I got there after midnight the code wouldn’t have worked yet I tried the code the next day and it did work! Was she lying so I wouldn’t come? I don’t know. When we got in and this is the best part, the sheets in the bed smelled like PISS, yes PISS, after all that we had to take off the sheets and sleep without nothing, the light kept going out and the terrace had a million rules and an uptight gringo at the bar literally complaining for everything. Will definitely never come back and if want this place cause it’s budget friendly I get it but I wanted people to know my experience hopefully it can help somebody stay away from this terrible apt and their host P.S. there’s weird ass paintings everywhere that look like someone bought in the middle of their menopause I’m telling you don’t come here
