A tree-lined lane leads up to the former workhouse that’s now converted into an exclusive collection of town houses and apartments. Stroll through your private front garden, step across the threshold and you’ll find a handy cloakroom and a door leading straight into your main open-plan social space. A choice of comfortable lounge seating is arranged before a Smart TV; behind, the dining suite has elbow space and some gorgeous garden views. The kitchen has all the must-haves of home, including a coffee machine for your morning pick-me-up. When it’s time to sleep, there’s a pretty twin bedroom with its own en-suite shower room and a double room with en-suite bathroom on the first floor. The second floor has a characterful king-size bed and en-suite shower room; pause on the landing where there’s a telescope for star-gazing and a desk where you can add notes to your journal before turning in for the night.
Allocated space for two cars means you can park, unpack and explore the surrounds at your own pace. Enjoy al fresco refreshments and snacks in your enclosed front garden or stroll through the grounds for far-reaching countryside views. The shared leisure facilities can be booked online – enjoy gentle laps in the swimming pool or work up a sweat in the gym in the fitness suite.
