Located in the sleepy village of Westleton in the Suffolk countryside, this cosy cottage offers a peaceful retreat for six guests and their furry companion. This thoughtfully planned accommodation occupies a sought-after position just 3 miles from coastal Dunwich, RSPB Minsmere and plenty of fun family attractions.
Step inside the cottage, and you're immediately welcomed by its calming atmosphere, where soft neutral tones and sunlight pouring through the French doors create an inviting feel in the open-plan living space. Unpack and settle down with a coffee in the enclosed garden, where birdsong and a gentle breeze set the pace for a slower, more mindful rhythm. The spacious kitchen invites you to cook together using fresh, local ingredients, then gather around the large dining table to share stories and laughter over a lingering dinner. Evenings are best spent curled up by the wood burner while planning the next day's adventures or enjoying a quiet movie night on the plush sofa. A double bedroom and shower room are found on the ground floor, while the other two bedrooms share a family bathroom on the first floor, offering space for everyone in the party to unwind at their leisure.
Pull on your walking boots and explore the unspoiled Suffolk countryside with many excellent trails to discover from your front door. Just 2.5 miles from RSPB Minsmere, bring your binoculars and a picnic and head out on a nature-filled stroll where you may spot Marsh Harriers and the occasional otter. Families will love days out at the nearby shingle beach at Dunwich (3 miles), where kids can paddle and build sandcastles on the shoreline. Southwold and Aldeburgh (both 9 miles) offer traditional seaside fun with fish and chips, independent shops, and crabbing on the pier.
