About this house rental
Ideally situated in the north of the town, this spacious and friendly cottage makes a fabulous holiday retreat for larger families and groups of friends looking for a cheerful base for exploring the charming seaside resort of Southwold. Within easy reach of the sandy beach, the property features a sweet conservatory-style dining area, large garden, big bay windows and a welcoming wood burner. This wonderful light-filled getaway is perfect for walkers, cyclists, nature spotters and beach lovers discovering the quaint villages, historic sites and stunning nature reserves of an idyllic part of Suffolk.
The property features a stylishly arranged and clearly divided open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The relaxing lounge has a wood burner, Smart TV and plenty of seating, making a great space to snuggle up with a movie. The central dining area extends under the conservatory roof, providing a lovely light-filled spot for enjoying celebratory family meals together which you can enjoy cooking in the beautifully arranged and fully equipped kitchen. The ground floor also offers a refreshing family bathroom and the first two bedrooms: a delightful king-size and a cheery twin. Upstairs, the first floor has another stylish family bathroom and two cosy bedrooms: a cheerful twin with a TV, and pretty king-size room, all with sloping ceilings. Outside, the garden has a charming patio with outdoor furniture, providing a relaxing space for dining alfresco. A few steps lead up onto the large lawn, ideal for playing games.
The northern end of the beach is just 300 metres away, with the pier, lighthouse and model boat pond all nearby. Southwold has plenty of great places to eat and drink, as well as a golf club, vintage cinema and the popular Southwold Maize Maze. Also nearby are RSPB Minsmere, Henstead Exotic Gardens and Benacre National Nature Reserve, all within 12 miles.
