St Marys View, Southwold

The location was really good. Fabulous sea views from living room

The rooms were very stuffy because all the windows were closed. It was better once we had opened all the windows but the window in the right hand front bedroom could not be opened and we couldn’t find a window key. The children were excited by all the games consoles but couldn’t get anything to work which disappointed them. If they weren’t meant to be used they should not have been on view. Also there were deckchairs in the porch but nothing to say whether we we could take them on the beach or not. No dustpan and brush in the kitchen. Parking on road very difficult.

The location, very well equipped. Comfortable and spacious

A number of failed double glazed windows. Fridge could be considered to be a little small. Only one proper shower. The roll top free standing bath with hand held shower head was very difficult for adults but great for families bathing children ( not us).

The view from the lounge and bedrooms was fabulous . The property was clean and had copious amounts of entertainment, games and electronic devices. The location was absolutely perfect.

We had strong onshore winds all week , and storms . The double glazed windows apparently leak around the edges and there was a strong draft coming from the downstairs lobby ( despite treble doors!) . The heating was excellent however and we managed to stay warm.
