Set in the heart of the Doddington Estate, just 5 miles from Lincoln, this lake view cosy bungalow offers a peaceful base for couples or families looking to explore both countryside and city. Lincoln’s historic cathedral and castle, perched high on the hill, are well worth a visit and just a short drive away. Closer to home, there’s plenty to enjoy right on the estate. Take a stroll through peaceful woodland walks, follow scenic cycle routes, or stop by the two cafés, the restaurant and farm shop. On your doorstep is the beautiful Doddington Hall and gardens with seasonal events throughout the year. For something different, try the estate’s padel courts, or browse the stylish interiors and country clothing stores. The on-site Giant cycle shop also offers bike hire, perfect for exploring the surroundings. Whether you're shopping, enjoying local food, or simply relaxing in nature, everything you need is close at hand.


Inside, the bungalow is straightforward, nicely decorated and comfortable, with wooden floors and a homely feel. The living room has a sofa, armchair, and a Smart TV – a good spot to unwind after a day out. The kitchen diner is bright and practical, with what you need for easy meals, plus a view of the garden. A back door leads directly outside, ideal for enjoying the fresh air when the weather’s nice. There are two bedrooms – one double and one twin – nicely decorated to help you rest up for the next day’s adventures. The shower room is clean and modern, with everything you need for a refreshing rinse.


The garden is semi-enclosed with a low fence – great for a quiet morning coffee or a laid-back BBQ in the evening. With private parking and essentials like a café, shop and restaurant just a short walk away, you can settle in quickly and start enjoying your break.
