Situated in the heart of this charming village, Devonshire House is a Grade II listed home, perfect for a relaxing holiday with family, friends, and the dogs.
With the Lake District National Park on your doorstep, Cartmel has so much to offer, whether it’s getting back to nature, with countryside rambles, or meandering among the quaint independent shops, tea rooms and cafes. For the discerning holidaymaker, there’s an abundance of fine dining venues on your doorstep, including Simon Rogan’s Michelin starred L’Enclume and Rogan & Co.
Cartmel racecourse holds several race meetings a year, with fun for the whole family.
For history lovers, Cartmel Priory, with it’s amazing architecture and 800 year heritage, is well worth a visit.
Decorated to an exceptionally high standard, you’ll find chic touches and refined details throughout every room of this three-storey abode. Dark wood flooring, driftwood details, and original beams add to the overall charm of the place, and there’s an undeniable spaciousness throughout every room. Leave coats and boots behind in the entranceway before making your way into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with underfloor heating throughout.
