Horse and Farrier Barn is a house consisting of a kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, air fryer, and dishwasher. There is an electric fire, a utility room with a washing machine, fridge, and ironing board, and a sitting room with lovely views on the first floor. The bedrooms include a super-king-size with an en-suite, a king-size, a double, a twin, and a single. There is a bathroom with a P-shaped bath, shower over, basin, and heated towel rail, as well as a WC and a shower room on the ground floor with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a multilevel garden with a gravelled area, lawn, furniture, and a picnic bench, as well as off-road parking for three cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking are allowed. The village features pretty streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, a charming gift shop, welcoming, traditional pubs serving real ale, the nationally acclaimed, Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding. Take advantage of excellent walking opportunities amidst beautiful, unspoilt countryside, visit Cartmel Racecourse, Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition, Lakeland Motor Museum and Holker Hall with its spectacular gardens, all of which are close by. The quiet seaside retreat of Grange-over-Sands, with its Edwardian buildings and mountain backdrop, is a mere 2 miles away, whilst Windermere, with its panoramic views over England's longest lake, is within a thirty minute drive.
