About this cottage rental

Make yourself at home at this lovely stone-built cottage perched above Lamorna Cove. Sleeping six people across three charming bedrooms, this is the ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends looking for an idyllic farmhouse to call home while they discover the wild beauty of the Cornish coast together. Spend a fun day exploring the narrow, winding streets of the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole, and in the evening, come home to the cottage’s peaceful garden to relax with a glass of wine as you take in the uninterrupted views across the fields and out to sea. This lovely farmhouse is accessed down a long and narrow unmade farm track, which may not be suitable for wide or low suspension cars, so please bear this in mind when booking. From the private parking area (there’s room for two cars), step inside this stunning detached farmhouse and find yourself in a charming hallway with plenty of room for your coats and boots. Head into the inviting lounge and make yourself at home by the wood burner and admire the welcoming Cornish landscape-themed interior. When it’s time to eat, make your way to the sleek open-plan kitchen/dining area to rustle up some dinner for everyone. Share a sociable dinner at the beautiful wooden dining table, or head out onto the private front garden to enjoy an al fresco dinner at the granite table. Afterwards, head back to the lounge and relax with a glass of wine while you enjoy the views across the farmland from the dual-aspect windows. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find three gorgeous bedrooms – two king-size with sea views (one featuring an en-suite), and a spacious twin room. Completing the layout, you’ll find a large family bathroom also on the first floor.


Set off to explore Newlyn Fishing Port (3 miles), a major Cornish harbour that’s renowned for its bustling fish market. Newlyn also has some great art galleries, which showcase the town's strong maritime and artistic heritage. Alternatively, pack up a picnic and head off to Porthcurno Beach (9 miles), which is celebrated for its fine, white sands and clear turquoise waters.
