This top floor apartment with sea views is superbly located for all the activities and attractions of Scarborough’s North Bay.
The beach lies a short stroll away; there’s a wide promenade, a good selection of cafes, bars and ice cream parlours. A local surf school, bike and kayak hire are also conveniently based nearby.
Within a ten minute walk of the apartment are the key attractions of:
* Scarborough Open Air Theatre offering a wide range of concerts
* Alpamare Waterpark with its heated open air pools, waterslides and spa.
* Peasholm Park - a green oasis with a range of colourful gardens and oriental pagoda. There are traditional activities for all ages including a boating lake, cafe, pitch and putt and a small outdoor performance area with music and entertainment.
* North Bay Railway - Britain’s biggest miniature railway.
Scarborough’s North Bay also hosts the Sea Life Centre - an aquarium packed with marine life.
Scarborough’s castle sitting high on its headland has stunning 360 degree views and is a great place to appreciate the town’s history from the Roman period on.
The main town of Scarborough with all its amenities and attractions is just one mile away, where there are cafes, bars and restaurants to suit every taste and budget, a wide range of shops, a popular and highly rated theatre with cinema.
Scarborough Spa in the south of the resort also has two theatres, a cafe bar and offers a wide range of entertainment throughout the year.
There is a traditional harbour area with opportunities for short pleasure cruises as well as longer trips to enjoy the sea and view the wildlife - seals, dolphins and porpoise are regularly spotted. Fishing trips are also available.
The popular and scenic areas of the North Yorkshire Moors, the Yorkshire Wolds and RSPB Bempton make great days out. Other resorts such as Whitby, Filey, and Bridlington are also within easy reach.
