About this cottage rental

This spacious two-bedroom cottage is located on 8 acres of peaceful farmland in Langtree. Boasting plenty of space and an outdoor play area, it’s a good choice for a small family plus two hounds wanting countryside walks, on-site farm activities, and easy access to the coast.

Inside this detached property, cheerful decor and pleasant soft furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere. The open-plan living area is at the heart of the property and is the perfect space to sit and chat or cosy up on the sofa in front of the wood burner. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out and when the weather is good you can open the patio door and let Fido roam around the fenced garden. Come family mealtimes, there’s a light-drenched kitchen equipped with every utensil you’ll need to create a delicious meal and a table with seating for four people. At the end of the day, retire to the serene king-size bedroom while the kids will love the twin bedroom with its playful decor and toy box. The bedrooms share a good-sized bathroom. In the morning, step outside and enjoy coffee at the patio table while the children play on the lawn. Children can also enjoy access to an outdoor play area (shared with six other properties) and explore the 8 acres of farmland. The property has private parking for one car.

This working farm offers a range of on-site activities for kids including tractor rides, egg collecting, a fairy walk, and a gnome garden. Children can also meet the resident alpacas, pygmy goats, pigs, chickens, and more. For a family day out, head to the nearby adventure park (8 miles) and discover thrilling rides, live shows, and play areas. Alternatively, head 12 miles to Westward Ho! and spend the day swimming and relaxing on the sandy beach.
