About this house rental
This detached barn conversion, situated in the heart of North Devon, sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms; a super king double bed and pyramid bunk. All the rooms are on one level, with 1 small step into the kitchen. The barn features a large lounge, dining room and kitchen, bathroom with large walk-in shower and double sinks, airconditioning in the bedrooms, and underfloor heating throughout supplied from the environmentally friendly wood pellet biomass heating.
This south facing barn looks out over the ornamental garden from its two private patios (one looking over the walled garden, and one looking over the ornamental courtyard garden), and is adjacent to the large 1,500m² walled garden.
High Park Barns has a secure, purpose-built 1 acre dog exercise field located on site. Designed with safety, freedom, and fun in mind, our fully enclosed field, with 1.8m high fencing, offers dogs the perfect space to run, play, and train off-lead in a safe and private environment. The dog field is open daily in the morning and evening for staying guests at no cost. Additional time can be booked during the day.
The barns at High Park were built in the early 1900's, shortly after the main house was built in the mid 1840’s.
It offers easy access to beaches, moors, coastal path walks, cycle paths, golf courses, horticultural gardens, children friendly fun parks, and many other traditional outdoor and indoor recreational activities for those seeking a truly relaxing, yet active, break away from the stresses of day-to-day life.
The barn is situated with 14 acres of private land. Within the grounds is a shared indoor swimming pool and hot-tub, and large natural lake featuring stunning vegetation and decked terrace.
The barn has access to four 7.2kW electric vehicle (EV) destination chargers.
The barn is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring them at £25 per dog per week or part thereof.

This is the perfect place to stay to enjoy Devon, the barns are great, the addition of the pool and the acceptance of the four legged member of our family is wonderful.

We were expecting our visit to be really good and when we arrived we were even more happy with our booking. The properties are lovely and modern still with the charm of a barn, great facilities especially being able to use the pool and hot tub 24/7.
The grounds are really nice with walled gardens which are secure and there are further grounds you can explore with a lake and dog fields.
Can't recommend this enough, will certainly be back. Great hosts who visit and welcome you on arrival and the cream tea that welcomed us as we arrived was great too.
