The apartment is less than a mile from Walberswick's sand and pebble beach and the village green, with its gift shops, cafes, and eateries. The village also has an excellent delicatessen, so foodies are well catered for.

The traditional seaside town of Southwold, with its colourful beach huts, award-winning pier and Adnams Brewery, is 1.5 miles away either on foot or by bicycle via the towpath along the River Blyth and over the Bailey bridge or across on the seasonal passenger ferry (Easter to end of September). The same journey by car is eight miles. The area around Walberswick is ideal for walking, cycling, and exploring the wealth of attractions, from the art and delicious fish and chips at Aldeburgh (15 miles) to the peace of the Broads at Carlton Marshes (18 miles), which is a lovely spot to let the kids get close to nature and is accessible for all ages.
