About this cottage rental
This cosy cottage is the perfect location for a family of four and their beloved pooch. Escape to this stunning part of the East for long countryside walkies, classic seaside days out and an array of places to dine out.
Enter this charming accommodation and head into the naturally light and airy living space. Find a spot before the fire to read your book, or gather the family and watch a film with your loved ones next to you. Meanwhile, the sizeable kitchen/diner provides ample space for hungry visitors and all the mod cons needed to make delicious culinary creations. There is a handy utility too, where you can wash towels or store sandy shoes after a long day of exploring. Say goodnight and climb the staircase to find two tastefully furnished bedrooms; one king-size with an ornamental fireplace and one lovely twin room overlooking the garden, both sharing a spacious shower room. Enjoy breakfast alfresco in the privacy of your courtyard garden on balmy mornings.
From your front door, stroll around the Georgian village of Walberswick to find a long sand and shingle beach backed by heathland, lots of bird spotting opportunities and many tearooms and harbourside eateries. Venture across the bridge to the Edwardian coastal resort of Southwold, a bustling seaside resort with an imposing lighthouse and fascinating pier. Jump in the car and drive over to RSPB nature reserve, Minsmere (9 miles), where you may catch sight of deer, otters, and a range of wild birds, so remember your camera!
