This charming barn conversion is set on a friendly, family-run farm in a peaceful location on the edge of the Lake District National Park, just 5 miles from the lively market town of Cockermouth. Sleeping up to six guests, it’s the perfect base for families or groups of friends keen to explore this tranquil part of the Lakes. The stunning waters of Bassenthwaite (5 miles) and Derwentwater (13 miles) are ideal for gentle lakeside walks and picnics, while nearby walking hotspots like Skiddaw (9 miles) and Blencathra (17 miles) promise more adventurous outings. The sandy beach at Allonby (13 miles) offers a lovely coastal day out, too. Discover Armathwaite Hall Spa (4.5 miles), perfect for a relaxing day after long walks on the fells. Cockermouth is a delight to explore, filled with independent shops, cafes, and excellent restaurants. Popular nearby attractions include The Lakes Distillery (3.5 miles) and the Lake District Wildlife Park (4.5 miles), both great for family visits.
