We loved our stay at Stonebridge Farm. We enjoyed the historic elements of the house and apppreciated the updated kitchen and bathrooms. There is a wonderful view of the river from the screened side porch. I walked the path around the field and along the river each day, enjoying nature along the way. The stone pillars from the old bridge are very interesting. The house is stocked with so many things - toilet paper, soap, shampoo, laundry and dish soap, puzzles, games, etc. The only things I didn't find when I looked were a rubber spatula and an ice cream scoop. Beds are comfortable and towels are plush and a generous size. The location is great. We spent one day shopping in Charlottesville and 2 days visiting small towns and enjoying the local antiques, arts and crafts, and restaurants. The hosts were helpful, sending information and messages to check on us during our stay. My sisters and I had a wonderful stay!
