About this house rental

As a young boy both of my grandparents owned lake houses, one in North Carolina and one in Virginia. Some of the best times of my life were at the Lake with my family; fishing for catfish and bass, swimming, boating, cooking hot dogs and smores, eating watermelon, etc.

We’ve been going to Lake Anna for over 45 years, and we’ve had this property at Lake Anna for over 15 years. We have had many special times and made special memories and offer you the opportunity to enjoy our house and make special memories as well. Please come, enjoy the peace and quiet, and share with your family the great family times we know you will have.

This Fully Furnished, 4,700 square feet, 6 bedroom, 2 sleeper sofas, 4 bath home is available year-round. It's situated on Lake Anna on the NW finger of Lake Anna’s public side of the lake, near Route 522. Just minutes from Tim’s at Lake Anna, Lake Anna Tap House, Lake Anna Winery, and Cooling Pond Brewery. Additionally, we are minutes by way of water to the Lake Anna Sandbar where you can play volleyball and enjoy good times with the family.

The home has a beautiful spacious living room, hearth room (with fireplace) and large open kitchen and dining area that all look out through two sliding glass doors and eyelid windows over the large deck (with 2 umbrella equipped tables with seating for 12+) to the water and 1 thousand square foot private dock below with tie ups for 3 boats and an additional mooring.

Our downstairs living room/play room is equipped with Smart TV with a 65' FLAT SCREEN for the big game with pool table, air hockey table, ping pong table and foosball table for that family competition. Another Fireplace is also located here in the basement living area. Three bedrooms are located on the main floor allowing easy entry for children or seniors. Another living room is upstairs.

A large driveway provides plenty of convenient parking spaces for 10+ cars. The walk-out basement has two separate full bath/king and queen and twin beds with TVs. The first floor has a Master California King bedroom with walk out balcony and huge Master Bath, walk in shower and tub, kids' play area, Queen Bed, and 2 single bunk beds. We also added upstairs with an additional King tilt bed, sleeper sofa and futon with an additional luxury bathroom.

This spacious house has lots of decks and plenty of light, with beautiful mature trees providing plenty of shade and sun. The back yard leads to a nice 142-foot waterfront, private dock, and PRIVATE BOAT RAMP within the HOA.

We had three families sharing the house for a long weekend on the lake. It was a great size for our group of 11, with plenty of space for everyone. Mark (the owner) was especially responsive, providing clear check-in instructions and staying in touch throughout for any questions/issues.The house has great lake access on a quieter area of the lake with ample space for boat tie ups at the dock. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Such a great house with so much room!! It is also on a quiet part of Lake Anna so that the kids can enjoy swimming right off the dock as well as boating! Really nice neighborhood. We had a GREAT Family vacation. 6 adults, 3 children six and under and an infant. The kitchen is well equipped. There are fun games in the basement. There are kayaks, a canoe and a row boat as well. Will definitely go back!!!!

Asterisk for the cleanliness and check-in ratings. The cleaning crew was unable to get the house in order due to an emergency, so the host had to fill in last-minute to clean. That made the check-in process a little unorthodox, with us doing some of the cleaning ourselves. However, the host was prompt in communicating the issues and also refunded us the cleaning fee without me asking, so it was overall a positive experience given the circumstances.Otherwise, the house was great!

My friends and I and our families stayed and had a blast of a lake weekend together. The provided boats/kayaks made for some amazing lake time fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some yummy dinners. The host was responsive when we had WiFi issues and also answered questions I had before the trip. The only two downsides I would say is that the place could have been a bit cleaner (dusty corners and some cobwebs, found a sock under the pullout couch. And the second is that the pull out couches/futon that was advertised were not really great sleeping locations - not comfortable and the downstairs pullout in particular has a pretty stained mattress and is lopsided.But overall it was a fun weekend to be had by all!

We had a great time here! The house looked even better in person and we loved the layout. Everyone could have their own space and we were able to have an area for kids to watch TV and play upstairs. Plenty of appliances to go around, anything you may need to cook. Loved the outdoor deck tables that could fit our large group. We canoed and kayaked as well as brought our own floats and spent a lot of time on the water. I would highly recommend the house to anyone interested.

Did a 3 day weekend with some longtime friends. Some highlights:- The Kitchen was very well stocked and made it easy to prepare breakfast and dinner for all 15 of us daily.- Two Kayaks and a Canoe all in great shape made it fun to explore the lake.- Plenty of beds including multiple private bedrooms made things nice- Inside was clean and comfortable.- 5 minute drive from a local store for food, and a 15 minute drive from Food Lion so easy to restock.Some downsides:- water was shallow and very muddy at the bottom, so swimming near the dock wasn't great. (This isn't the owners fault so I'm staying at 5 stars)- Lots and lots of bugs. (Also not the owners fault)

Loved this property! Our group of 18 stayed comfortably at this beautiful lake house. We had great access to the lake and opportunities to use the provided kayaks and canoe. We had multiple meals outside on the deck and nights around the fire! Check in, check out and communication with the host were fantastic. Strongly recommend this property. Hoping to be back soon!

We enjoyed our stay for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well stocked. We would return. Couple of small matters of critique: some electronics are outdated. There were satellite tv receivers, but no satellite tv (or at the very least, no instructions on how to use them). Many of the doors are "creaky" and some are hard to close and lock. Overall, a very nice house at a great location.

Farmers Landing on Lake Anna was a perfect setting for our reunion with family and friends. The accommodations were excellent and communication with owner, Mark, was seamless. The property manager, Kim, was very friendly. Definitely a 5 star stay and we hope to do it again in the future.

We had a group ranging in age from 6 to 80. Everyone had an amazing time. The kids loved the air hockey and shuffle board in the basement, and everyone loved the fishing and kayaks.

The property was a great size for our group. We definitely liked the three levels that gave everyone their own space. Overall the property was in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked. If you are going to cook bring your own spices. There were a some available. The dock was a great size but needed some spraying of the weeds and small trees around the steps to the dock and in the back area of the dock . The lawn company said they would be back but we didn't see them. After they take care of the overgrown areas it will definitely be better. Please make sure you bag your garbage , prior renters left loose garbage in the can. We got the linen package. There were plenty of bath towels to use and sheets. There was plenty of toilet paper, tissues and hand soap to get you started, we did purchase some and left what we didn't use. Plenty of space to park . The outdoor space under the deck was great, plenty of tables and chairs. We enjoyed our time there. We definitely would rent again.

This is a beautiful well equipped house with lots of bedroom space for a large family. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding and some of the kids enjoyed swimming, but the lake is very shallow with a muddy bottom in this part of the lake, so most of us preferred swimming at the state park 17 minutes away.

What a fantastic property! Plenty of room and fun for the family! Room to gather but areas to go for quiet. Private dock to swim and enjoy the water. We were located toward an end so there was not a lot of water traffic…bonus! Owner was very responsive to questions. There is no hot tub and the lower fire pit was unusable but did not affect our stay at all! Plenty of towels (if you pay for linens). Plenty of utensils, dinnerware and cookware. There is plenty of anything you may need! Awesome place and fantastic stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at Farmer's Landing for a family reunion over the holiday. Lots of space and lots of beds. Well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meals. This is my second time staying at this property and once again enjoyed it. We had a group of 8 adults and 8 children. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Mark is a fanatic host, quick to respond to any questions. I heard all the beds were comfortable. If I had one suggestion it would be to have an empty cabinet in the kitchen for groceries, but with that being the only improvement. Great house!

I couldn’t have had a better experience at the Farmer’s Landing. Mark was a wonderful host, and communicated often. I hosted my bachelorette party here and had a mix of family and friends of all ages. We had a blast. Highly recommend for large groups of families and friends looking to hang out, play games, and enjoy company. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone, everyone was comfortable.

Our extended family has been vacationing together off and on since 1998 at the beach and lake and we have stayed at many properties. This is by far one of our favorite homes for so many reasons. Waterfront access was important to us. We did not rent a boat but there is a slip to keep one if you do so. The house was very clean, we opted to have sheets and towels as part of our package to cut down on packing. Everything was clean and in good shape. It was THE BEST stocked kitchen by far! We weren't missing anything, and we cooked every day for 12 people. Our weather didn't cooperate, and we were in the house for 3 of our days but there is plenty of room to spread out, work puzzles, play games and enjoy the basement game tables. We had several questions throughout the week and the owner was very responsive to messages. If you are considering renting, go for it! One recommendation for the lake is to bring water shoes or waterproof sandals to wear in the water. Due to lack of rain, the water was a little shallow and, in some spots, close to the dock you could touch bottom. We also brought our own crockpots for meals so we could be at the lake and that was helpful! You will enjoy your stay!

Large, modern, well-equipped house directly on lake with beautiful views. There was plenty of room for all of us (8 adults, 7 kids) and the teenagers loved the game room. The newly renovated upstairs was a particular highlight and a great place for late night board games. Our stay was in late December and the winter light on the lake was lovely and memorable. Would stay again for sure.

My family had a wonderful time staying here. There was plenty of room for all 19 of us. We took advantage of the fishing, kayaking, canoeing. Even though we couldn't swim in the lake, there was enough to keep the kids busy. ousins had a great time getting to know one another better, and siblings spent much needed time together w/o kids while grandma and grandpa babysat. So glad we picked Farmer's Landing to spend our time at.

Our family had so much fun!! We loved how spacious it was and the activity table was also nice. There are three separate living room areas so you can space out as needed. The finished upstairs is beautiful! We also used the kayaks and canoe one day. It’s close to the marina and grocery store. We would definitely consider renting again!
