Located above Grit & Grace Mercantile, you’ll be steps from shopping, dining, and the Fort Scott National Historic Site. Sleeps up to 8 with memory‑foam beds throughout, private parking included, and guests receive 10% off shopping below at Grit & Grace Mercantile Boutique.

The Sugar Suite is a private 2‑bedroom, 2‑bath apartment (~1500 sq ft) in a restored 1911 brick building in historic downtown Fort Scott. It’s located upstairs above our boutique (Grit & Grace Mercantile) with a separate guest entrance and easy self check‑in. One flight of stairs (about 20 steps) is required. Private parking included.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire Sugar Suite. The apartment is located upstairs above a boutique and has a separate exterior entrance. Enter through the front door labeled “323 1/2” and go up one flight of stairs (approximately 20 steps) to apartment #2. A digital keypad code will be provided prior to arrival for easy self check‑in.
