Emplacement exceptionnel. Appartement atypique, grands volumes, beaucoup de cachet Très calme, confortable et spacieux. La terrasse, pour prendre un dernier verre sous les étoiles, malgré l’absence de mobilier extérieur.

Le débit d’eau très faible ne permet pas de prendre une douche, bain obligatoire. L’installation électrique difficile à gérer (quatre appareils aux normes européennes, un seul adaptateur circuit terre), pas de bouilloire compatible induction ni théière.

The room is in a great location, surrounded by authentic local life and plenty of character. Even the little street right outside the door is special – it’s the narrowest street in the city. Just open the door and you can chat with people passing by like a local. You can wander through the surrounding streets, get completely lost, and somehow always find your way back again. The room has air conditioning, which is absolutely perfect on a hot Italian day. The bed is quite comfortable too, although I wouldn’t recommend moving around too enthusiastically on it. :)

If you’d like to experience what it’s like to live without windows, the ground-floor room might be just what you’re looking for. There’s also a slight smell of damp/mould, which adds to the atmosphere. The room comes with a coffee machine — unfortunately, it doesn’t work. There’s also a dehumidifier — that doesn’t work either. If you’re sharing the room, you’ll also be sharing the rather minimalist kitchenware collection: a couple of glasses and a couple of forks between you. This is definitely not a place sparkling with luxury, and the photos may give a somewhat more flattering impression than the reality. It can work if you simply need somewhere to sleep and don’t expect much in terms of comfort or amenities
