It was pretty convenient in District 1 but getting around to other District is quite far due to constant heavy traffic, so it is best to stay around the areas of your interest.

You get what you paid for. I stayed at Landmark 81 Plus which is separate from the main building, where Vinpearl is located, There’s no AC at the lobby, or maybe the construction of the AC vent are all the way at the high ceiling, T/F cool air never reached the surface. Check in process was quite convoluted if you don’t speak Vietnamese.

The apartment could use a deeper cleaning and some maintenance. There was still quite a bit of construction dust, and some of the furniture felt flimsy and some appliances didn’t work. The bed was very firm, which may be normal for the region but is worth mentioning. The AC was also inconsistent — I set it to 20°C, but it switched off during the night and I woke up around 6 AM because the room had become warm. One additional concern: after my stay, I received an email from Booking.com stating that a positive review had been posted for this property on my behalf, even though I had not submitted that review. At the same time, my Booking.com account was still asking me to rate my stay, which is how I was able to submit this actual review. I have screenshots of both. Because of that experience, I would personally treat the unusually high review score with some caution.
