NEW 4-Bedroom Apartment, Steps from the Promenade by SF Homes

Due to the fact that we were traveling as a large group of 7 people, we were looking for an apartment with at least 3 bedrooms, this one offered 4 bedrooms, which seemed perfect for us. We usually avoid booking properties without reviews, but after checking the company managing the rental, which appeared professional and manages many apartments, as well as seeing the attractive photos and excellent location, we decided to book it. The only real advantage of this apartment was the location, it is indeed very close to the promenade and near a bus stop. The rooms are spacious and have high ceilings, and the apartment is located in an old but well-maintained building. Additionally, we were welcomed with a few bottles of water and coffee capsules, which was a very kind gesture. The property manager kindy reacted to our requests, provided an iron that was missing from the apartment and sent a handyman to repair a leaking pipe on the patio.

However, we ended up being extremely disappointed. The apartment is located on the ground floor, which makes it quite dark and noisy. The kitchen was dirty, one of the toilets was clogged, and there was mold in several places. The patio mentioned in the description was basically unusable. The bathroom ventilation fans were extremely noisy, the bedroom cabinets were old and damaged, and the TV did not work properly. We discovered that there was no dishwasher. To make matters worse, we also found big cockroaches. We are very dissatisfied with our stay. The conditions of the apartment did not meet our expectations at all, and we want to warn other guests before booking this property. The apartment is in urgent need of renovation.
