Brooklyn Apartments Sliema

The apartment was located a short walk from the bus system which gets you around the island with ease. It was very easy to get to numerous coastal swimming areas, as well as Valletta and St George’s bay. We had the ground floor flat which meant we had access to an enclosed area where all our beach wear and towels dried very quickly as it was where all the AC units blew out warm air.

Unfortunately, as previously mentioned by other reviews, the room at the front of the building is not insulated against noise. On one morning at 5 am, I was awoken by a a group chatting outside the building, and then an hour later by a couple arguing. When I read previous reviews, I thought it was referring to cars going past but you can hear people talking outside. It is generally a quiet street, but if anything is going on outside the building at night, it will wake you up.

The location of the property was very good. The apartment was nice and adequately big.

When we first got to the house it was dirty. Mainly there were crumbs and stains in the sofa, hair in the bathroom and one of the towels was dirty. Additionally the AC in one of the bedrooms didn’t work and we were told that someone would come and fix it but that never happened. When we informed the owner about it they sent a cleaner to clean the said areas and bring another towel. The cleaner brought a new towel that was also not very clean and we had to tell them to clean the bathroom a third time because they didn’t do a thorough clean and there were still hair in the shower.
