Rooftop Room

Our time at Kathy and Kelvin’s place was one of our best ever stays. Kathy and Kevin are so friendly and were very attentive at their home and also gave us great recommendations for our London excursions. We also really enjoyed sitting with them over breakfast and having great food and conversation. Travel is the best when you make connections with local people and it feels like visiting a friend. The home itself is very comfortable and the room is small but very well organised and clean, and a private bathroom. It was very comfortable for my husband, myself, and our daughter to stay for a week. The location is great, it’s a quiet residential street 10-15 min walking distance to great shops and restaurants and 20 min walk to the Thames. There is a bus stop a few streets away and a tube station about 10 minutes away, both can get you anywhere you want to go in London. We give them the highest recommendation. We are looking forward to staying at Kevin and Kathy’s again on our next London trip.

Extrémě milí a příjemní majitelé, kteří Vás přijmou skoro jako členy rodiny. V dochozí vzdálenosti od metra. Hezký podkrovní pokojík s vlastním sociálním zařízením.

Beautiful quiet home. Kathy and Kevin are angels. So very helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and gave great advice regarding places to visit. Totally recommend the Rooftop Room!

Fantastic hosts! Kevin and Kathy are the best hosts you could ever ask for. They are incredibly easy to talk to and comfortable to be around, and Calum is very nice as well. The location is great—just a 30-minute walk to the Wimbledon Championship and a 10-minute walk to the nearest underground station. There are also plenty of grocery options nearby. The room itself is very clean and convenient, featuring its own private bathroom. Having two beds is a huge plus for different types of travelers. Even on the hottest summer days when lofts typically warm up, my comfort was never an issue. The weather didn't bother me, but the hosts were so incredibly accommodating that they kindly offered me a cooler room on the lower floor. They truly anticipate every guest's needs! This place truly feels like a home away from home!
