If you expect a la di da hotel experience with a chocolate on your pillow and a bathrobe folded up on the bed, forget it. This is a perfectly adequate but simple room in a town house. For me it's all I need. On top of that you're right off Brick Lane. You can't decide where to eat in East London...
You have to get used to the 'no human being around' formula of codes and key boxes... If that's the case, rock on.

I liked the position, close to Brick Lane and Liverpool Street station, in quiet alley. Overall was pretty clean.
Small rooms including toilet. I have slept on better mattresses. Walls are very thin, you can hear evey single footstep from upstairs and conversation from neighbours. If you get the wrong sharing guests, it could be a sleepless night.
