We booked 1 night at Grand Hills after next day we booked again for 2 more extra nights. and it was a wonderful stay in the gorgeous mountains that surround Kandy, with a super view. You need transportation to go to town, keep that in mind. 6km from city center 15 minutes drive.
The room was super spacious and clean and you had a great view from the balcony. The pool was really nice to cool off after a day of sightseeing. You can order a la carte dinner and lunch breakfast is Including for room price. Huge portions! We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still be close enough to check the sights on daytime.

A great place to abandon all your usual life to emmerse yourself in Mother Nature, where you wake up on an endless scene of green mountains and only the voice of birds and various animals with a humid cold breeze. The swimming pool is a refuge after a day of tourist movement. The breakfast is an English style one with toast, butter, jam, fruits and omlette. You may have some monkey visitors in the front/back yards (don’t feed them). Expect to see lizards and mosquito repellent is a smart daily companion. Finally, the host, Mr. Smith, is a great help that he dedicates himself to make you happy by coordinating your trips from/to the hotel. Besides, the other two staff are very friendly and dedicated to provide the best service. On the top of everything, the people in general are very nice and friendly.
The property is far away from any groceries so you have to rely totally on delivery application. Laundry service is expensive. The furniture is a bit old but still it is comfortable. The suite does not accommodate 4 adults comfortably . The closet is small and the fridge is small too.

Grand Hills is wonderful! Gorgeous views, generous, friendly and welcoming staff, and an overall perfect location for a relaxing getaway. the area quiet The pool is clean and everything is as in the pictures. We planned to stay for one night but extended our stay. Can recommend the place and would stay there again.
