Pondok Songkir

I stayed at Pondok Songkir for 4 nights while I was exploring Ubud. It is owned by a very sweet young Balinese couple, who were very kind. Pondok Songkir is located amongst the rice terrace / fields, away from the chaos of Ubud, so very peaceful with beautiful scenery of mountains far in distance. There are few nice cafes / restaurant within walking distance. If this place is available while looking for somewhere to stay in Ubud, it js highly recommended ☺️ I will definitely love to stay here again when I am in Ubud next time.

The road / path leading to Pondok Songkir is too narrow for a car, so it is a 5 mins walk to the nearest pick up point for a taxi. However, the owners were very helpful and kind to meet me when I was dropped off from my taxi to carry my suitcase to Pondok Songkir upon check in, and they did the same when I checked out. So it is not much of inconvenience. Actually the 5 mins walk to Pondok Songkir is very nice.

Super mooi schoon en nieuw huis. Super fijne badkamer met regen douche. Ook de tuin was mooi met een eigen keuken en een prachtig zwembad .

Dat je er alleen met de scooter kon komen

It was a very nice place to stay. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Very nice to have a private pool and a beautiful location in the middle of the rice fields. Breakfast was also well organized.
