Villa Galuh Sanur

We stayed here for 5 nights. I liked the rustic vibe. It was functional for our needs and the neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. We liked the proximity to cafes and supermarket. We hired a scooter and enjoyed exploring the local neighbourhood and meeting the friendly neighbours. The staff at the villa were helpful and friendly.

The pool has no steps so getting in and especially out of the pool is difficult. I bought it up with the staff and the response I got when asking about hiring steps was to tell me how deep the pool is as if in their opinion it’s not deep enough to warrant steps. So if you can imagine what a challenge this is going to be i wouldn’t advise booking this place. There’s also no real lounge seating area to chill and relax. The outside dining area and day bed are lovely spaces to enjoy but there is no shade or blinds to shade from the heat of the day so it’s unusable in the afternoons and the only other place to chill out it in the bedroom. So not great if you are a group booking.
