Villa Shantitara Bungalows

Villa Shantitara was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We stayed for 7 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were absolutely amazing, so welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. The attention to detail and convenience made travelling with children so much easier. They offered an in-house laundry service, breakfast was available, and our accommodation was cleaned and made up daily. Everything felt so well looked after, and the level of service was exceptional. We genuinely loved our time here and cannot wait to return! ❤️

Absolutely nothing! We had a wonderful experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The host went above and boyond for us. The breakfast was incredible with the homemade sourdough, eggs, crepes and fresh fruit salad! Highly reccomend

The location was perfect for us as there was zero noise pollution and beautiful tropical gardens. Large bungalow with lots of privacy. Restaurants and grocery store in short walking distance. Beach is 5 min away.

Hidden Gem!

The pool was so lovely. We used it a lot and the pool area was really nice. It was super quiet. It had a traditional feel. Lovely animal life in and around the property. It was great to have our laundry done on the property. Shanti and the sweet cleaning lady were helpful and nice.

The location was far from the beach and down a busy laneway. The bed was very hard and the air conditioning unit was really noisey. The room itself - while traditional was very old and even though we’d arrived two days after our scheduled check in- was not ready for us (even though we had paid). We didn’t even get fresh soap and had to use an old bar that had been left. I had read rave reviews about the breakfast and for us, it was very average. Considering what we had paid down the road, it was poor value. They even charged us full price for our daughter who ate next to nothing. This place could do with a good clean up and de clutter.
