Chena Wilds Wilpattu

This is exactly where you need to stay if you want a true wildlife experience. From the moment i arrived, i saw a large herd of elephants right near the property—and i even saw them close to our tent at night! Speaking of the "tent," it is actually a spacious, beautifully arranged apartment that far exceeded my expectations. The room was wonderful, and the food was absolutely excellent. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. I must give a special mention to Samantha for providing the best hospitality, and to the chef, who personally came out to ask how I preferred my meals prepared. In the morning, we went on a safari organized by the property, and it was a phenomenal experience. We were lucky enough to see a leopard incredibly close to our jeep, with no other vehicles around! It was one of the greatest moments of my life—I didn't even get that close to a leopard in Africa. To top it all off, we spotted a sloth bear on our way back, which was a spectacular surprise. Highly recommended!
