C’est une maison immense, très authentique et chargée d’histoire. Le jardin est joli et j’ai adoré entendre couler l’eau de la fontaine la nuit. L’onsen privé est très agréable et spacieux.
Tout est très charmant mais La maison est très faiblement meublée, ce qui fait qu’elle manque un peu d’âme. Il y a le minimum comme équipement pour manger sur place : un mini frigo, un microondes et une bouilloire. Aucune vaisselle, ou moyen de cuisiner. Pas de machine à laver le linge.

La maison est authentique, pleine du charme des demeures traditionnelles japonaises et surtout immense ! Le bain onsen dans la salle de bain est très agréable. C’est une parenthèse incroyable après les nuits en hôtel des grandes villes. Rien de surfait, juste de l’ancien restauré avec goût et en préservant l’esprit des lieux. Une opportunité unique de dormir dans une maison digne d’un dessin animé de Miyazaki.
Aucune vaisselle fournie (pas même un verre ou une tasse). Certains futons étaient inconfortables ( pas tous, certains étaient plus récents ). Dommage que le jardin ait un peu était laissé à l’abandon.

La localisation est parfaite à 5min à pied de la gare de Hakone-Yumoto, l’emplacement au milieu de la végétation apporte de la fraîcheur et une atmosphère paisible. Ambiance traditionnelle japonaise très dépaysante. La maison est vraiment très belle. Elle est immense et la cerise sur le gâteau : il ya un Onsen privé

There are no plates or cutlery. So although there is a kettle you cannot make tea! Although there is a microwave there is nothing to eat on!
