Telford - Priorslee, Spacious Double Room on a Newly built House, Free Parking, Free Wifi, Shared House & Shared Washroom

In fairness, enjoyed my stay. In my naivety I had not properly appreciated that it was a family home with family in situ. D'oh!!! However, that being said, I was very well received by the lovely family who made me feel right at home. They were warm and friendly and not at all intrusive. There was a minor problem with the wi-fi and they sorted it out straight away. They had good knowledge of the local amenities which was helpful to me. The room itself is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. I had everything I needed. There was plenty of space to hang clothes and keep my belongings tidy. The bathroom and kitchen are shared with the hosts but everything is modern, super clean and tidy. I highly recommend this place if you want a cosy homestay rather than a sterile hotel room.

I thought the hosts should have made it clearer in the description of the property that they have a young child in the household. No offence, but it's not ideal and wouldn't be right for everyone. This part of Telford is the kind of place where you can't walk anywhere. Not really. On reflection, the location was a bit too suburban for me. I would have been better in a town centre but this location is just right if you want to be in a quiet cul-de-sac.
