CBD Studio Apartment

Excellent central location. Perfect for a short stay. Comfortable bed. Good value.

Some tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo etc would have been nice. There is a kettle, toaster, crockery… but had to go out and buy the essentials. I would have liked to have known it was a private apartment in the Hotel Adina. Found it confusing when trying to work out where it was, prior to arriving.

The apartment is a privately owned room within the Adina Apartment Hotel. The building is directly opposite central railway station and ideally located within walking distance of most Brisbane attractions, there is also a supermarket in the same building but it is not open on the weekends. The restaurants on the South Bank are about a 30 minute walk via a choice of 3 bridges or the river cat. The apartment is small with limited daylight but is more than adequate for a short stay.

The security is a problem. The electronic locking is common across two adjacent rooms, during my stay one of those rooms was occupied by the owner and the locking was not a major issue, but if that were to change it would need to be rectified. There is also a mechanical lock that should be removed. I managed to lock myself out and the owner did not have a key ! The window was also less than secure and should be repaired although it worked to our benefit when I was locked out.

Nice room, comfortable and great location.

It was hard to get in touch with the property via booking.com I suspect the contact number needed updating

It was close to where we needed to be, very central in the CBD
