First of all, I would like to say that the staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout my entire stay — truly 5-star service. I chose this accommodation because it has a sea view and was the cheapest non-hostel option in the area, as shown in the photos. I was fully aware in advance that the accommodation is built from containers, although they are set up in a clean and well-organized way. That said, this setup comes with a few drawbacks. I work remotely and spent my days working from the room, and during the daytime it is almost impossible to keep the room properly cooled. There is a card-based power system, meaning electricity only works when the card is inserted (even though the card can be removed from the key). At night, however, the room can be cooled very well. Sound insulation between rooms is quite weak, although this did not bother me too much. There were occasional sewage smells in the room, which suggests the drainage system may not be perfect. This is likely fixable, and keeping the bathroom door closed helps. I would only recommend the location if you have a scooter, as it is far from Lamai Beach on foot, but only a 5-minute ride by scooter. Across the road there is a jet ski rental and a quiet, pleasant beach with reasonable prices. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are mainly looking for somewhere to sleep and plan to spend most of your time out doing activities. From a value-for-money perspective, it is a good option, even considering the minor issues mentioned above.

staff are rude, the showers stopped working on nye so i had to use bottled water to wash my hair and was offered no compensation. staff was laughing at me as i tried to get their attention as i came out the showers in a towel. the matress is like a gym matt so uncomfortable and the whole shipping container shakes when people walk around. the type of people staying here is not for solo backpackers this was a last resort for nye, it’s near nothing in the middle of no where it’s terrible to get cabs to and from and the adress doesn’t even come up on google/grab/bolt. had the worst 2 nights sleep and there’s bugs everywhere. there’s no locks on the doors so anyone could stroll in . did not feel safe as a girl solo backpacking. do not recommend in the slightest
