The breakfast provisions were very good and generous. The property is spacious and has extensive gardens with fruit trees, although when we visited the dry weather made it a bit dusty. It is surrounded by a terrace and is quite secluded. The host was charming and attentive, receiving us personally and waiting for us to arrive even though we were a little late. Very fast internet so ideal for an escape to get some writing done or remote work using the workstation in the office a continent away! The size of the property would also be good for a family with space so that they are not on top of each other.

It should be made clear that it is not really a place to get to and from with public transport or taxis. There was no public transport to get near the property as far as I could find out and a taxi from the nearest train station runs to quite a bit, being a 20 minute or more journey on a fast road. There are no shops, not even a boulangerie, in walking distance so arriving by car (one's own or hired) is pretty much a necessity. If you want to hide away in a rural setting with a really fast internet connection (I measured it), say to get some writing done - then arrive with all your provisions and enjoy the seclusion.

Logement très grand. Hôte très gentil qui nous a donné beaucoup d’explications sur les sites à visiter. Le logement était très propre , le petit déjeuner au top et la possibilité de garer la voiture un grand plus. La maison est entourée d’un grand jardin verdoyant.
