Central and Roomy Vancouver 2BR w Laundry and Parking

The location was a convenient walk for us to take the train into the city & other areas. Kevin, our host was prompt in replying to questions we asked him.

We had overlooked the note near the end of information about the place that it was at the back & downstairs. We thought we were staying in the house as shown in the photo advertising the apartment. I think it is deceptive- a photo of the front of the house AND photo of the rental stairs and door at the back should be advertised. This would have given us a clearer expectation and with heavy suitcases it would be better to prepared for the stairs- even if they are short stairs. We could not work out how to turn the shower on initially- perhaps some instructions would be helpful. Being from Australia, we are used to teabags & small container of milk being left ready for guest. After the effort to get there and a walk with luggage up a street that was a little steep, this would have been greatly appreciated! The closest supermarket is a large Asian one- T & T. It might be helpful to mention as we could have purchased some food items we could not fins there, prior to our arrival. T & T was an experience though! Of all the accommodation places we had stayed on our trip- the mattresses were the firmest. A little too firm for us, but I know others may like them.
