Elegant Flat 2 Min Walk to Watford Junction

The Elegant Flat is in an excellent location, close to the station and a short walk to the main shopping area. Communication with the host was clear and helpful, with straightforward instructions for both check‑in and check‑out. Any questions we had were answered promptly. The bedding, and surface areas in the bathroom, and kitchen were clean. Despite being so central, the street was much quieter than we expected, especially for a Saturday night. The price was also noticeably lower than other accommodation in the area, offering very good value for the location.

On entering the Elegant Flat, we were welcomed by a rather assertive aroma of damp. It was particularly strong in the bedroom, though there was little visible evidence of water ingress. The floor through was quite dirty. Our socks and feet turned an impressive shade of brown. The photos on Booking.com appear to have been taken during a more glamorous chapter of the property’s life. Addressing the damp issue, ensuring the floor is clean and refreshing the décor would significantly help the flat live up to its advertised name. For a single night, the accommodation was fine, however calling it 'elegant' feels more like an aspiration than an accurate description.
