Spotlessly clean, staff couldn’t do enough for you, fantastic location. On-street parking and a small car park too. Breakfast simple but plentiful and kitchen accommodating to requests.
Decor is slightly outdated and in need of some maintenance, but everything was really clean. Bed was comfortable enough but would benefit from an upgrade.

Breakfast was pretty good. Had Cooked one and also Continental. The former was good, freshly cooked to order and tasty. The latter was pretty basic, not much choice of cereals and just sliced bread, no croissants or alternatives.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hotel clearly very tired both outside and inside. Our Room had a Bathroom door which would not close, a toilet which did not flush properly and a light which stopped working after 1 day. General lack of space to hang clothes. Also, TV was almost directly above the bed which meant you had to crane neck to watch !
