I really enjoyed my stay at the Suite Kathedraalhuis. It was just as charming and eclectic as the pictures show. It was the ideal spot for exploring the city. The bars below played great music to enjoy on the terrace in the evening. The kitchen suite was a fantastic surprise and I saved a lot of money by having the Nespresso in it.
As a tall guy with large feet, stairs are no joke. Both the stairs up to the suite and inside the suite are narrow and short, making carrying luggage an adventure. If you're just backpacking, it probably wouldn't be that bad, but I was in the middle of a longer trip and, unfortunately, had a larger bag.

Lovely centrally located property. It was close to bars, restaurants and the main shopping district. Property was clean and tidy.
There was no information on what to do with the recycling. The stairs were quite steep and would not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

Very historic house is a very good location. Very much enjoyed having two balconies and some medieval vibes, with modern conveniences.
I’m sure some would find the stairs challenging.

Prachtige locatie tegen de kerk aan gebouwd. Mooie authentieke elementen. Bedden slapen prima. Verder ook alle voorzieningen aanwezig.
Toilet en trap binnen zijn erg smal/klein. Zittend kon de deur van het toilet beneden eigenlijk niet dicht.
