Studio in Chamonix center, 2 pax

This charming studio with balconies overlooking the bustling center of Chamonix, was cozy, clean and tastefully furnished. The directions to and instructions on accessing the property were clearly communicated. The kitchen was well-equipped, which meant we could cook a few simple meals. The washing machine and drying rack were huge pluses too! Location wise, we could walk to many attractions, eg. the cable cars and hiking trails. There is an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops within a 5 to 10 minute walk. I also like the fact that there was an elevator, which meant we did not have to lug our luggage up flights of steps.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend others to book the apartment. I would have given a "9" rating, except that the "bed" was actually a sofa bed, which was not as comfortable as a proper bed as there were a few "dips" in the mattress. We would have appreciated it if sachets of shampoo/shower gel were provided.

- easy to access and we were able to check in well ahead of time (thank you!!) - washing machine was easy to use and pods were provided. - sofa bed was comfortable and we had a good night sleep (we didn’t realise it was a sofa bed, but that was our mistake on booking). - communication was great and had quick responses.

- would benefit from more/improved cooking facilities; bigger chopping board, more tea towels and a drainer for washing up. - would also prefer to have a iron and ironing board.
