Great location and facilities. The host went to great trouble to make us feel welcome by leaving provisions and going the extra mile.

Hard to find initially (it isn't on the road itself but in a small courtyard inside a wire fence). The main door keycode (under the outside door handle) was hard to find in the dark when we arrived and hard to get it to work. I never managed to but my wife found the knack which was to touch the screen first without touching any number and then put in the code. The main downside is the lack of enough natural light in the main living area.

I'm so pleased I decided to stay at this smart new accommodation right in the heart of the Kalsa district. It's very well equipped, stylish and clean and here I had 2 of the best nights' sleep anywhere during my stay in Sicily. Given the location, I was not expecting it to be so quiet at night. I would absolutely stay here again. The host communicated well and the check in process went like clockwork once I located the building in the warren of lanes that make up this historic quarter of Palermo. The location is within walking distance of many of the sites of interest as well as cafes, restaurants etc. Highly recommended 👌

The only drawback is that the apartment, being surrounded by tall buildings in a courtyard, doesn't let in a lot of natural light so it can be a bit dim inside during the day. That doesn't matter if you're out and about sightseeing though and it can be cosy in the evening
