מקום מושלם!!! באמצע היער לא קל להגיע אבל מתאים ממש לכל מי שרוצה ללכת לרכבת זריחה לאלישן או פשוט לישון קרוב ולהסתובב שם בשעות היום קיבלנו יחס מדהים מהבעלים והבן שלה, דאגו לוודא שאכלנו ואנחנו מסודרים לשהיה ושנדע איך להגיע לזריחה באלישן החדר היה גדול ונקי, מיטות אמנם על רצפה אבל נוחות מאוד המקום שקט ממש, בלב היער מומלץ בחום!

For $1600 NT on a weekday, I wasn't expecting luxury. Just a clean place to take a shower and sleep. This place felt more like the afterthought of a tea farmer than a genuine homestay. The one good thing was that the man presumed to be the owner can speak English well. If you're an English speaker that wants to pay $1600-$2200 for what is essentially a low-budget hostel experience on a tea farm, then maybe you'll like this place.

No power when I arrived. He acted like this was normal. Room was humid and musty. Mold spores everywhere. Fan was filthy. Dehumidifier was old, loud and covered in black mold. No towels provided (though he did say he could have one delivered by evening time). After a long day of hiking and riding, I at least expected a place I was paying $1600 for to have hot water and a towel. WiFi, as stated in many reviews, basically didn't exist which is potentially frustrating as cell service is also very poor out there. Common room was dirty and filled with stuff collecting dust. The days breakfast leftovers were still sitting out at 3pm. The BBQ area was full of leftover food scraps and empty bottles. The whole place just seemed to be an afterthought. It looks like they had started to build new rooms, but then abandoned the project. I've stayed at better-equipped campgrounds in Taiwan for about 2/3 the price of this place. And the BnB just 200 meters away is much, much nicer for only a bit more money.
