Host & Stay - Abbey View House

Location was ideal, 15 min walk into Whitby. The area the house is situation was blissfully quiet. The surrounding view is lovely. There is an allotment with chickens to the rear of the house which you can hear in the morning but no big deal. The house has all the amenities you need, it was very comfortable and clean. Check in was easy and clear

We had a fabulous stay at Abbey View House. A real home away from home, so comfortable and spotless. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Only a small issue but there were only 4 chairs for the dining table, but there were 5 of us and the house accommodates 6 guests.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Really lovely property and very reasonably priced. Charlie was communicative and helpful. Just a great place to stay.

Property was in a great location. Just a short walk to the Abbey or town. It was to a good standard, very clean and comfortable with great quality furniture and appliances. I was there with my wife, her parents and two kids and we all had a great stay. It's in a very peaceful spot that backs onto some allotments where there is some chickens and a rooster a little further away who crows in the morning but this didn't bother us at all, in fact we quite liked it. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

There was nothing I didn't like about our stay but if I were to make a suggestion (not a criticism) I would say please leave the WiFi information printed somewhere as for our stay we got an email saying to download some documents before arriving (which I forgot to do) that have the WiFi information. Problem was I have a foreign sim card so couldn't download the file when I arrived because I had no Internet. I did however find the router after some searching and was able to get the login from that so all was good in the end.
